' . WANGANUI, This Day. The provincial'executive, of the Farmers' Union discussed in committee a proposal -that shearers may not accept the award rate, this season. It was decided that, fcirmers should be advised to adhere to Iho award rate; and also to circularise all- owners appealing for subscriptions ■to defend the farmers.
