TIVOLI THEATRE.

The popular Humphrey Bishop combination concluded their season at the Tivol Theatre last evening, and to-night a brand new programme will bo offered by the management, a programme which should prove very acceptable to. those who enjoy entertainment of the light and happy order. Practically all thr? artists will be new to Wellington audiences, but Stan Lawson, the clever female impersonator, is very well and very favourably known all through New Zealand. As a member of the "Diggfrs." Stan Lawson is happily remembered. He is associated with Joe Valli, whoso Scotch humour and impersonations are.very bright. Stanley Brookes comes to New Zealand with a reputation as a finished portrayer of Dickens character sketches, a class of work that is always welcome if well done. Miss Wynn Bee-Jay is a versatile comedienne in burlesque, songs at the piano, and whistling numbers. Soli is a musician o? many parts and as many instruments. Miss Una Smith, announced as the child wonder vocalist.,, has recently completed a most successful season in Melbourne, where she was acclaimed by ciitics as a young singer of very great promise. The Ross Bros, present a vaudeville, specialty act. that is quite apart from .the usual run of specialties. Harrie Franklyn, basso, also comes to Wellington with a long record of successes' elsewhere to guarantee him a successful season. A matinee performance wiL be given to-morrow afternoon.
