TIVOLI THEATRE.
Commencing to-morrow evening Musgrove Celebrity Vaudeville will be resumed, and a varied programme of variety acts will be presented' at the livoh Theatre. This includes some unique vaudeville and musical items, embracing an original presentation by bten Lawson, the entertaining "Aussie" and female impersonator, and Joe Valli the mirthful Scotchman. Their act is described as full of bright entertainment and bristling with humour. A rare treat is provided by Stanley Brookes, who comes with exceptionally high credentials as one of the most accomplished Dickenss.character artists seen in New Zealand. The scene from "Oliver -Twist, wherein Fagin becomes insane in the condemned cell, and - that in which he portrays Sam Weller, are somewhat far apart, yet Mr. Brookes is said to .cause laughter as easily as he can thrill In F UQ at the pi „ i^e-Jay presents an unique musical tarn.
