- Two first offending: inebriates were each fined 10s, the amount of the bail. Leonord James Thompson Ross, who 2>lea(ie<i not guilty to the theft of a hat ;md a shirt of a total value of £1 19s, was remanded to the 25th June. A remand to the same date was granted in the case of William George Hart, appeared on a charge of vagrancy Kenneth Martin Beck, who was charged with making a false declaration to the effect that his household effects were valued at £298, and were destroyed by Fre,. was remanded to the 2nd July Before Mr. R. D. Hanlon, J.P., at the Mount Cook Police Court this morning, one first-offending inebriate was fined ss.'
At the Petone Magistrate's Court this moriiing, before Mr. J. H. Burn, J.l'.. a first offeuder for drunkenness was filled I,os.
