KILLED BY MACHINERY
(Received 23rd June. 1 p.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day.
Carl Holtz, son of the general, manager of the Melbourne "Argus," employed aa commercial chemist at tho Mount Lyell Works, at Footscray, was adjustl ing machinery when his clothing was caught in the belting. He was whirled round the shafting and sustained dreadful injury, and died in a few hours. He was 22 years of age.
