TARANAKI ALL BLACKS
The All Blacks, A. H. Hart and H. W. Brown were the guests at social functions held1 in Taranaki last week. On behalf of. the members of the Tukapa Football Club, the patron (Dr. E. A. Walker) handed to A. 11. Hart a travelling . rug, and in doing so he referred to the honour Hart had brought. himself and -the club in being included in the great team. All knew that he would uphold the best traditions of the club and of Rueby during the tour to Australia and the Old Country. During the function, Mrg. Hart,, wife of the All Black, was presented with a bouquet. Old boys and masters of the New Plymouth High School gave a luncheon in honour of H. W. Brown. On behalf of the Old Boys' Association, Mr. C. S. "Wynyard (president) handed to the All Black a leather suitcase as a token of appreciation and goodwill. The president pointed out that Brown had attained the. highest honour on (he football field, coon after leaving fichool. He carried* with him the best .wishes ol all.
