At the Stamford Bridge -Amateur Athletic championship meeting, the 200 yards final , resulted .-—Kinsman (member of the South African Olympic team), I; E. Liddell. (Edinburgh Club) 2; A. S. Porritt (New Zealand and Oxford), 3. Won by two and a. half yards, inches separating the others. Time, 21 7-10 sec. Porritt appeared to beat Liddell for second place, but the judges decided in Liddell's favour.
In the pole jump, the Australian, D Sumner (Oxford) and J. Campbell (Combndge), tied with 10 feet. In the jumpoff Sumner won at 10 feet, Campbell failing. '•■'.,'■■, -
H. M. "Abrahams. (Cambridge University) won 'the' 100 yards. He was not extended, and, did it in 9 9-10 sec. Atkinson (South Africa)' won the' I'O yards hurdles in 15 l-10sec—a championship, record. "
