GRAMOPHONE CONCERT.
A unique concert was held in St. Anne's Hall on Saturday night, when a large audience was entertained with a gramophone records' concert. Included in the programme were marches, fox trots, songs, . and instrumental items. Those by Caruso, M'Cormack, and Madame Clara Butt were much enjoyed. Interspersed with the gramophone programme were a chorus by selected convent pupils, with an encore response; a miniature choir of ten little boys, with Master Roy Crawford as conductor, and dancing items by Misse3 Gladys Smyth and Moynhan, and Miss Smith giving the two dances which won her- the championship at the recent competition. The Bristol Piano Company supplied the gramophone and records used during the concert.
