Australian, )70s to 17-ls; New Zealaud, 17tis to 178s; comparing with Danish, 180s to IS3S. Cheese—New Zealand, S(is to OUs.
The New Zealand Loan aud Mercantile Company is advised from London on 20th June, its follows:—"Butter, choice salted, 178b to ISOs pur cwt; market firm. Cheese, 88s to U2s per cwt. Market quiet."
Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 19th June:—"Butter: Market is firm. We quote New Zealand salted 178s (1745); New Zealaud exceptional brands, ISOs (170s); Danish. 18-is (183s); finest Australian salted, 170s (ICCs); nnsalted, 178s (170s). Cheese: Market is quieter. Quotation tor New Zealaud white and coloured 90s; white is preferred. Canadian c.i.f. is not quotable. The total imports of butter into United Kingdom for May, 1924, amounted tb 081,0C0cwt, as compared with 541,000cwt for the corresponding period" of last year."
