COMMITTEE'S DECISION UPHELD.

An application for a writ of mandamus commanding the Manukau Licensing Committee to grant a renewal of the license of the Hibernian Hotel, Onehunga, was made at the Supreme Court by Bass, licensee. It was dismissed by l'lr.< Justice Stringer, who concluded that the committee had ample evidence in support of its opinion that the hotel was not conducted in a proper manner, ■
