CONNECTING CRYSTAL SETS
| Constructors of cry6tal detectors often nave poor results at first through wrongly connecting the instruments, especially when using the single-coil tuners. The detector should be connected to the aerial end of the coil, one cord of the telephone to the detector, and the other cord to the earth end of the coil. It ■6 also better to have the slider of a single-coil tuner connected to earth rather than to the aerial.
