The after-dinner speaker had resolved to turn over a new leaf. Never again would he address a board gathering But one day he was approached" by a woman who sought to have him address her club.
"I can't," he explained firmly, "I have burned my bridges behind me." The woman looked slightly surprised, but nobody came to his rescue.
"Oh, in thnt case," a ho said, "I w yi IbuU you a gut uL w/ huabaaU'4."
