MEAT SHIPMENTS.
-The hew Zealand Meat Prodncers' Board has received a cable from its representative at, Buenos Aires, advising the folfowine shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended 14th June, 1924, from, Argentine and. Uruguay :—250,426 '-qnarters chilled befef, 110,5f17 quarters frozen beef, 59,435 carcasses frozen mutton, • 52,134 carcasses frozen lamb' The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same-period totalled : ,218,100 quarters frozen beef-,; 9303 carcasses frozen mutton, 1200 carcasses frozen lamb.i. The shipments of frozen meat from New Zealand jor the month of May totalled: 45.G39 quarters of beef, 95,321. carcasses of mutton, and 60G004 carcasses of 16mb,'.making the total shipments since November, 1923: 167,818 quarters beef 1,072,CfiS carcasses mutton, and 331058 carcasses lamb. ■■-.-.
