An objection was immediately 'raised, the objectors considering that the omis- ' sl°" °\ .TOUffh ,lining' would result in the prohibition of the use of scrim and plaster, i which was unfair to many owners in the countryj , ' ■. ■ :..
The committee indicated that it was the \ intention.to prevent the use of scrim and ■'. paper, which were insanitary and iin- '■• hygenic, and were a source of danger in': ' case of fire. By making the recommendation the committee considered it was moving- towards the conservation of timber.
The committee's recommendation wap adopted by a. three-to-one majority.
