> CHRISTCHURCH, 19th June. > Jack Hannah, aged 18 years, -was electrocuted at Southbridge to-day while working on ,the roof of/the National Mortgage and Agency Company's office. He .received prompt medical attention, but attempts to preserve his life failed.

Mrs. Jeanriie Frame, widow.. aged 55 years, a dairy farmer,, was found dead at noon to-day in a.house in Eden street where she lived by herself. ' Decease* has two sons, who are soldier settlers at Miller's Flat, and a daughter in the North Island. .
