BRITANNIA THEATRE.
"Heodman. Blind," the famous stage play by Sir- Henry Arthur- Janes' and Wilson Barrett, which reigned 30 years ago as the prowning melodramatic achievement of two pf the greatest; authors knoyn to the drama, came back from its gierious resting place to-day to enjoy a new triumph. It returned via tho motion picture screen, and is being presented at the Britannia Theatre daily. The story ot "Headman Blind" i s that, of. a man whs condemns his wife nnjustly, with the result that he nearly ruins three lives'— those of his wife, his' child^ and himself. It pevelaps Jjiat the woman he.saw in another, man's arms was his wife's sister who he did not know existed. She is innocently made the tool of an unscrupulous enemy of tho ■ husband who covets his wife. \David'Butler plays the role of Jack; Tenlctte, the husband, and, in doing so, adds one more.' jewel1 to his histrionic crown. ' Gladys Hulette, as Nance Tfeulette, his wife^ and as Jess, her s'iste;. shows, that she is' a delightfully capable' actress. . The supporting items are'of an exceptionally high order.'■...■ :
