PROPERTY SALE
Messrs.-J. H. Bethnne and Co. held an auction sale at their rooms, Featherston street, yesterday afternoon, when,' under instructions from the "Wellington Hospital Board they submitted two leasehold properties, Nos. 28 and 30, 'Clifton, terrace, with the dwellings" thereon, of nine and six rooms respectively. Theleases were put up with an upset ground rental, that for No. 28 being £55 perannum, and for No. 30 £45 per annum. There was a good attendance, and good competition for these leaseholds, No. 28 being secured by Mr. J. L. Morrison, at a ground rental of £59 per annum plus £600 for the building, and No. 30, by Mr. H. V. Geddis. at a. ground rental of £54 per annum, plus £500 for the building. Two other leaseholds. Nos. 179 and 181, and No. 183, Adelaide road, were also submitted, but the reserves not being reached, were withdrawn, and are now in the hands of the auctioneers for private sale.
