Bert Graham and 8.-, Palmer, 'both -well"-':and favourably known in connection'with-the business for many years past, will also take an. active interest in the ; affairs of the concern, wlvih will continue to be run under the style or firm name of J. L. Ben-, nett, Ltd. With the combined energy and ability of those gentlemen named, there will'be nothing lacking in the direction of maintaining and extending all branches of the firm's trade, which covers auctioneering, produce, grain, fur-' j niture, fruit, and the. pig and poultry market par excellence, of : the North Jsland. There is also, run'in conjunction with other departments . a butchery,, where only the best quality ox beef, wether mutton, and .' dairy-fed pork is sold at prices that has gladdened the ; hearts of many householders and helped in a marked degree to lessen Hhe mueh-talked-of high cost of living. ■_ This new firm are not experimenters in the auctioneering business,, every man associated "with it knows it from A to Z, and those desirous of getting the best results with prompt cash settlements are well advised to place their clearing "or outdoor sales with them. Regular mart sales for fruit are held on Tuesdays, .Thursdays, and Saturdays; furniture on Thursday*-arid Saturdays; pigs, poultry, and produce of all kinds every Saturday. The firm have for private sale grain and produce of all Knds, horse and cow covers, .harness of every description, .-bedding, new and secondhand furniture, carpets, blankets, crockeryware, and general sundries. The special aim of the firm is to give a fair and square deal to all, and, with fair methods of trading, to further popularise this old-established auction mart.
