Palmer, the proprietor, has, owing to tlio natural growth of the business,, admitted his son into' partnership, and henceforth the finn will be-known as L. Palmer and Spn. Mr. Palmer, jun.. lias had a thorough training in the trade, and with his years o£ experience will be an acquisiMon to tlio management of tho'Hiiywood Vulcanising Works. It is really marvellous how this business lias grown. , It is constantly being extended aild iriiproved, and we suppose that there is r;o more up-to-date plant for vulcanising in operation in the Dominion. Mr. Palmer has made vulcanising a special study, and can turn out tires with diairiond and other treads that it is hardly possible to recognise from new ones. A reconditioned, well vulcanised tire often lasts longer than a hew one, and where motorists want to practise- economy they can do so by having their damaged and well-whni (ires mjide fit again at Kilmer and Son's.
