S.R. WAUGH,

(PUBLISHED BX ARRANGEMENT.)

THe Premier tailor, Opposite Post Office, Maiii Street, Palmerston North.

Tailoring is a trade entirely on its own, arid how a first-class business can be built up in a few brief years by an expert tradesman has been given ocular demonstration in Palmerston North * by Mr. S. R. Waugh. Here is a man who comes along and buys a small business with one cutter, and perhaps a couple of hands, and within six months the staff has grown to ten, and in four years it is found necessary to secure premises five times the original size, and to-day we find Mr. Wangh and his staff occupying the whole of the building erected for the "Manawatu Standard." and Mr. Loughnan, the solicitor's offices, as well Upstairs, where a legal firm have just vacated at Mr. Waugh"s request, 'has also been converted into a fine workroom, and the ground floor will be exclusively used for showrooms, fitting and cutting rooms. Mr. Waugh is an expert tradesman in every sense of the term, ami it is little wonder ho does the lion's share of Palmcrston's tailoring. His fit, style, and finish is superb. The large stocks of worsteds, tweeds, and other materials available for selection includes the famous Sportex tweeds. Mr. Waugh holds the sole agency for these beautiful tweeds, and it can be asserted without feat- of' contradiction that there is nothing their etju;il in the district today. Call and inspect the "Sportex," it is a superior tweed that must appeal to those that like the best. Will you come in and ask us to show you Sportex tweeds ?
