Palmerston North. The above business, situated in Lombard street, Palmerston North, is well equipped for the manufacture of castings, and general iron work of every description. The proprietor, Mr. A. Hosldng, is a fully qualified tradesman with many years' Home and. colonial experience. Several missing portions of Palmerston's new gas plant have been made to the complete satisfaction of the engineers, and the handsome memorial gate at the Terrace End School was designed by Mr. Hosking and made .on his premises. The gates leading to the municipal playing areas at Terrace End, and other parts of the town, .were also turned out at this foundry.
