Visitors to Palmeriston North during Show Week are accordingly invited to visit the firm's premises in Eangitikei street, and inspect in actual operation the workshop equipment, which comprises three lathes, radial drilling ma-' chine, sensitive drill, shaping and screwing machines, grinders, power hammer, an up-to-dat"e forge, with electrically-driven blower, and punching, shearing, and metal-sawing machines. The whole of ono bay is served by an overhead travelling crane, which enables heavy pieces of machinery to be easily transported and conveyed to any one of the workshop machines, and an inspection of the plant in operation will convince all that engineering work of either the heaviest or the lightest and most delicate description can be performed with accuracy and expedition.
