SNELL'S BUTCHERY.
Terrace End, Palmerston North. Meat is such an important item of daily diet that its hygienic handling and rending is a matter that ever calls for
attention. In this connection it may be frankly stated that in the residential area of Terrace End Mr. Snell's butchery, as illustrated above, 'is right in the front rank of popularity, and certainly a decided credit to the district. The first thing that strikes one on entering is the unusually clean and neat appearance of the interior, whicli makes ihe_ choice meat displayed all the more inviting. There are no stale meat smells, no flies, and everything is seen spic and span. At the rear is the small goods manufactory, which is also surprisingly fresh and clean.
