A public farewell was tendered to the two Wairarapa representatives in the 1 All Black team, Messrs. I. Harvey and Q. Donald, last night, and was largely attended. Each guest was presented with a travelling rug. j Mr. J. V. Sherbourne, of the'P'ahiatua Post { Office staff, has received notice of his transfer to Hastings. George William Wildish, tailor of Masterton, late of Thames, has been adjudicated a bankrupt, on his own' petition. This is the first .bankruptcy notified in the.district this year. Mr. I. Chas. Smith,", who has been Wairarapa representative for Messrs. E. :W. Mills and Co., Ltd., for some years past, has returned to Wellington, to take charge of the firm's hardware-de-' part-meat. Mr. Smith will be succeeded by Mr. E. Hollisj of Wellington.
