A clerk, 23 years of age, named William Albert Reid, was remanded to appear at llawera on the 20th June on a charge of the I heft of £2 14s 5d from Messsr. Ilalliwell, Sprall, and Thompson, solicitors, of llawera. On v charge of failing to comply with the terms of his probation, a steward, 32 years of age, named David James Cromie, was remanded to appear at Auckland on the 24th June.
