A FATALITY
(Bt TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) ASID3TJRTON, This Day. Alfred Dalby, aged 45, a married man with several children, living in Christchurch, was run over by a ballast train in a shingle pit at Winslow this morning and killed instantly. He was employed as a casual labourer by the department.
The evangelistic mission which has been conducted at the Lower Hutt Presbyterian Church for the • past fortnight wili be concluded to-morrow. The Rev. John Bissett, the Assembly evanpelist, has been drawing splendid audiences. The suiginr* by Miss Bissett has been a feature of tho mission.
