KILLED IN THE BUSH

GISBORNE, This Day. Rua Ngata, nephew of the Hon. A. T. Ngata, aged 27, and married, was killed by a falling bough whilst working in the bush. The impact threw him on to an iron wedge driven into a tiee, and the wedge entered his head.
The Postal authorities have received cable advice from Newcastle that the Kaitoke left Newcastle on the 14tlf instant for Auckland. The Kaitoke carries a. small mail for Wellington. The Pelone-Hutt Gas Lighting Board has arranged to give cookery demonstrations at the Low.cr Hult Technical School on 17th June, at 2.30 p.m., and the Petone Technical School on 19th June, at 9.30 t>.ui.
