MARAROA IN HEAVY WEATHER.

Strong southerly winds, accompanied uy torrential rams, were encountered by the ferry steamer Mararoa on her run down from ' Wellington to Lyttelton on ihursday night. Although the weather was boisterous, the Mararoa made a fairly good passage, and berthed r.t Lyttelton at 9.50 o'clock" on Friday morning.
