A POLICE RAID
Senior-Detectivo Cameron and ActingDetective Coddington yesterday searched under warrant'tho fruit shop and laundry of a Chinaman named Yung Ngar, of P.ona Bay. The result of the search was the confiscation of twelve bottles of beer, two dozen bottles of port wine,, and a dozen bottles of whisky. Ngar will appear before tho Magistrate's Court to answer charges under the Licensing Act.
Members of the Brooklyn Horticultural Society are reminded of the annual tremu-al meeting to be hold at Waldio's liall, Brooklyn. Intending members are invited to ba present.
