YOUNG AUSTRALIANS
ENTHUSIASTIC WELCOME IN YORKSHIRE, (ACgTBALIAN-NB'W ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received 13th June, 11 a.m.) LONDON, :t:tli June. Ihe fifty- young Australians of the Young Australia League received a hearty Yorkshire welcome at Waddington's big printing works at Leeds. In the afternoon, despite showery weather, they played in an enjoyable cricket match \vhich had a most exciting finish. The works team scored 86, and the Young Australians replied with a score of 87. A small party motored to Brad' ford and inspected several of tho largest spinning mills. They received a Mayoral reception,, at which they had luncheon, and later attended a matinee as' the guests of Bradford Rotarians. In the evening the whole party were entertained at a dinner and "sing-song" by the Leeds branch of "Toeh H." The proprietors of the Scala Theatre at Leedsare making a complete film of the Yorkshire visit, which will be presented to the boys to take back to Australia, Incidents which have already been recorded will be shown at a special perforhiahce to-night.
