TRAGEDY AT BROOKLANDS.

(BETTER'S TELEGRAM.) (Received 10th June, 10 a.m.) . LONDON, 9th June. During the Whit Monday motor-racing at Brooldands, a car travelling at 110 miles an hour ran over the top of the banking, and caught fire. The driver, J. Toojj was^killed instantly.
(OMTID MESS ASSOCIATION.—COPTRIGIT.) MELBOURNE, 9th June. During a motor-cycle race at Aspendale, Victoria, a machine ridden by W. Lehmann turned a somersault while travelling at 60 miles an hour, killing Lehmann instantly.
