EMPRESS THEATRE.
An all-New Zealand picture, constructed in a locality famous for its natural beauty, is now screening at the Empress Theatre, featuring that famous diving Venus, Annette Kellerman, whose eylph-like form is seen in much graceful action. The film, which was taken mainly in. Nelson, with some Island Bay "shoots" and CEristcKurch*;Scenes; is> a most creditable production in every way. An interesting story is toldiby Mr. Maurice Vancam, who is walking round the world for a wager of £7COO. There are other film supports, and Mr. Matt. Dixon's Empress Orchestra delights the ear with excellent music.
