SUDDEN DEATHS

- AUCKLAND, 9th June. Bertram Hitchcock, aged 40, a married man with three children, residing at Mount Albert, was found dead in bed. There were'indications of gas poisoning! ■_. .- THAMES, Bth June. Ihe inquest on' Arthur Turner Pools disclosed that deceased had been under medical care for some time in consequence of a nervous breakdown. He walked m his sleep, and it is supposed that he walked out into the water of the reservoir, and on awaking, tried to get out, but failed. Footaarks on the floor of the reservoir indicated this Poole probably died of shock, as there was no water fn his lungs, and the body was standing upright when fonnd

David Jennie, a single wan 42 years of age, dropped dead at Kimbell. He had been rabbilin<r and was on his way to a doctor at Fairlfe when he expired. He had complained ot feeling unwell in the morning.
WAIMATE, 9th June. J. Ivippengerber, who was severely burned at Studholme Junction through his clothing catching fire, died lo.day.
