(REDTER'S TELEGRAM.) (Received 4th June, 10 a.m.)
CAPETOWN, 3rd June.
Speaking at Durban, Mr. Boydell, de-puty-leader of the Labour Party, strongly denounced the rowdyism at General Smuts's and other South African Party meetings. The disorders, he saia, simply played into General Smuts's hands Mr. Boydell emphasised that the violence and disorders at General Smuts's meeting was merely due to reaction on the part of the people against a violent and disorderly Government. Other Labour members in Natal aro similarly condemning the disorder, which they maintain is not connected with the Labour Party.
