AUCKLAND, This Day. Before the Taxation Commission, Mr. Kissling, manager' of the New Zealand Insurance Company, said such institutions objected to lending money on mortgage, because it was recognised that 6£ per cent, was the limit which farmers could pay. This did not offer such good investment as tax-free war bonds. ,
