Two French aeroplanes have been shot down by the Turks, and the French casualties in recent weeks are estimated at 400.
It is reported that the Bavarian general, yon^Lossow, who was formerly an attache at Constantinople, is attending a council of war of German instructors, who are training the Turkish Army. : The French, .have only three divisions in Syria, and General Weygand is urging that reinforcements be sent. The .French have not yet ratified tho Treaty of Laiisanne v ... . .■ ■
