Eighteen hew members were .'elected. A sub-committee was appointed to revise the rules, and a report on the Work [ will bo presented at.the next monthly meeting. The attention of traffic inspectors is to be directed to those motorists who use the reads of the district at high speed. The association intends to urge upon the City Council the necessity of duplicating the tram track from i Coutts street to the Lyall Bay terminus, and will alto request the tramway department to arrange for football cars on Saturday afternoon's fo stop at Resolution street. It was reported-that tho amended 'arrangements' for" dealing with ■sand drift were workiusr out satisfactorily. •
