(kbdter's telegram.) .; NEW YORK, sth May.. . 1 A telegram, from Springfield, Massachusetts, says that the. uniting of Americans with British, Australian, and other Methodists in ,the cause of world peace was urged at the general conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church Conference by Mr., W.; M'Cutcheon, of Melbourne, who suggested that the conference should send a radio message to Britain and Australia, asking for a united brotherhood. : "You will ■ hear us reply: '|You lead and we -will follow,-," he.said. "Let's forget ancient grudges."
