TO LODGE BROTHERS

The Grand Lodge of New Zealand, New Zealand Constitution, of the Royal Ahte> diluvian Order'of Buffaloes,- held a: special, lodge meeting on Tuesday evening' last, in. the Early .Settlers' -Hall, Abe_l" Smith street, for the purpose of tender-' ing: a reception to brothers of the Order' from all H.M. ships in port. Brother Arthur D. Pickard, X.0.M., R.O.H.': .(Grand President), presided: over an at- v tendance of about 250 ." brothers', arid; naval brothers from each of' the ships greeted the lodge. The toast of "The: Kirifi'- proposed" by the chairman, was' received with .great . enthusiasm, and that, of "Our- Brothers from. H.Mr Ships," proposed, by Bro.'.H, W; Harris,. C.P., was•.'heartily honoured, and ' was responded to by 8.r0.v C. P. Todd of' H.M.S. .Hood;, X.0.M.,- England, of H.M.S. 'Repulse, Bro Yarram, of H.M.S. Adelaide, " and, Bro. C P Painter, of . H:M:S.
