They were welcomed at the railway station by the Mayor in the presence of a great number of -citizens, entertained at dinner, and then taken on tours in motors. Captain Ramsay : was the. chief "speaker at the Scott Memorial function in the afternoon. The draft returns to Duuedin ithis evening. . . v / DTJNEDIN, sth May. '. ' H.M.S. Dunediu was visited to-day by 460 country school children. A. party of 120 officers and men spent the day at Oamaru. returning by a special train in the evening. . . Official calls occupied the remainder of tha afternoon, and this evening a social function ' was held at Blnff.
