COMMUNIST PRISONER'S RUSE,
''• ' v (REUTERS TELEGRAM.) (Received 6th May, 10 a.m.)
-BERLIN, sth May. - An amusing side of the Russo-German quarrelis the fact that it originated on the thirst of two .policemen, who arrested the' Communist Botzenhai'dt at.'Wurtemburg. They were escorting him-to Berlin, when Botzenhardt offered to ■procure drink -at the Russian Delegation Building. The policemen fell into the trap, and entered .the huilding, where, they state, they were imprisoned for some time. Botzenhar,dt, they said, escaped during the confusion, arid he has not been seen since. .. .."■*.
The .search of the Soviet commercial delegation's rooms,' which has created a difficult situation 'between the Soviet and Germany', was. undertaken, according 'to earlier.reports, to find Botzenhardt. The Soviet's' indignation at the incident. is due in part to the invasion of Embassy premises, which are generally not open to the. ordinary legal procedures of the country in which they .are'placed. .
