The chief increases in imports were: Grain and flour, £2,730,569; animals (living), £1,423,----071; other food and drink, non-dutiable £1,302,718, dutiable £1,556,756; wool, raw, £4,506,113. Exports: Other food and drink, £1,063,436-; cotton yarns, manufacturers, £1;318,243. Re-exports • Cotton, raw, £1,603,834. Decreases in exports werei. Coal £2,427,277, and vehicles £1,674,650.
