During the same period the sum of £14,175 was spent on roads. House-wiring jobs - completed, or for which estimates have been accepted by the Wairarapa Power Board, are as follow; Masterton 363, Carterton '297, Greytown 66, Featherston 131, Martinborough 13; total 870. T. Grundy and 'T; Moss, members of the Education Board. The Featherston ■ Committee . asked ' for a cookery1 and woodwork' room,'.but no promise was made.
