, AUCKLAND, 9th April. Further details of the flood damage north'of Auckland show that the Glorit, Hoteb, and Makarau districts of Lo^/er Kaioara suffered most severely. "ilt did considerable damage to the Kaipara Flats. Little loss oi' stock is reported, but many animals suffered severely as they were isolated and could not be milked. The work of clearing the railway beyond Kaukapakapa will be resumed tomor'raw. One of the chief works is the removal of an obstruction at the mouth of the Te Hekeroa tunnel and the:work of consolidating the line will be a strenuous and" long one. ' •
