EMPRESS THEATRE.

The well-known stage success, "Within the Law," in film form,* will be finally shown to-day, at the Empress Theatre , and 'makes a stirring drama, characterised lj faultless acting and beautiful settings. "Love in a Harem,"-the first Pathe drama in natural colours since the war, and which is to be screened for the first time at'the Empress Theatre to-morrow, tells a fascinating story of an Oriental Sovereign, who, bored with every possible pleasure, sent his three bravest courtiers to find the world's three greatest marvels. If they succeeded prosperity was their reward, if not death stared theni in the face. The first returned with the biggest diamond in the world, but the Sultan had his coffers full of jewels, so off came the courtier's head. The second offered him a magic glass which enabled anyone to see any desired object. This tickled the Sultan's fancy, sp the second courtier was allowed to live. The third imparted the news of having found the greatest marvel in the world,, no other than the enchanting beautiful Princess Doaulah. The Sultan was a bit dubious about the. find, until the courtier luckily suggested his look-1 ing at her through the magic glass. Included in the programme is a picture of special interest to all golfers, entiled "Slow Motion Golf," by Gene Sarazen, the American champion. The Empress Symphony Orchestra, under Mr. M.
