The Rev. J. Treharne Phillips, aetin°--chaplain of the Scilly Islands, lias written to the New Zealand High Commissioner, stating that, as the result of a lecture which he gave illustrated with lantern slides, provided by the New Zealand Government offices", one of the inhabitants, whom he describes as a fine, well-built, upstanding young fellow of 21 years, has decided to go to New Zealand, and he will later be ioined by a friend of 24.years. At present, the Publicity Department of (he HHi Commissioner's office has on loan "over 30 sets of slides, all of which are being uacd foj- leetu.'Q purpoßos m viuioug parts oi the United Kingdom.
