LODGE MEETINGS

Arrangements have been in progress for the formation of a third Kebekah Lodge (female branch) of the 1.0.0. F., N.Z., in Wellington. A preliminary meeting of candidates and organising committee was held last Monday to fix the date of institution, Bro. H. Finch, P.D.D.G.M., presiding in the absence of the L.D.D.G.M., owing to indisposition. It was decided to name the new branch "Rose of Wellington" Rebekali Lodge, and to open ifc in due form on 15th April, and to meet fortnightly thereafter. Charter members and officers designate were also nominated. The lodge will be instituted by the D.D.G.M. '(Bro. N.Lee, P.G.), the new lady candidates initiated in the Rebekah .Degree, and first term officers installed in regular form by the L.D.D.G.M. (Sister 0. C. Gordon, P.N.G.), and suite of sisters. Zealandia Lodge, No. 48, 1.0.0. F., N.Z., held its fortnightly meeting at Newtown on Thursday, Bro. 11. Guyton; N.G., presiding. An official visit was received from officers and members of Wildey Lodge, No. 107, Island Bay. One candidate was nominated.'
