STRAND THEATRE.

Tears and laughter are mingled to good dramatic purpose in Tom Moore's master picture, "Mr. Barnes of New York," now showing at the Strand Theatre. Moore is seen as an ingratiating and genial Yankee, who falls in love with an English girl, and becomes en-' tangled in a, Corsican vendetta. "Flaming Youth" is also showing. The supports are excellent, and Harry Avery and his jazz band present a bright and popular musical programme.
