When the counting closed at,midmght only the Adelaide ..returns were complete. Three Labour members were returned.
Mrs. Uood is the only woman candi--s*' She received 1515 votes against 6854 scored by Mr.. Gunn, the Labour leader. \
Though it is impossible to give a definite verdict, yet it looks, on the incomplete figures, as if Sir Henry Barwell s Liberal Party will get n set-back.
