SYUNEY, This Day. lhere were many narrow escapes on board the cruiser Dragon and on the Honolulu, Maru, and several minor casualties occurred..- In attempting to get a line aboard the Japanese ship, the Uragon. fired eight rockets, but, owing to the strong wind, all the efforts were ineffectual. ' At one time the line caught on the bows of the Honolulu Maru, and one of the Japanese crawled over the side with a rope round his waist and freed the line. ■■-...'
